Frequently Asked Questions

What thickness glass is used for frameless pool fencing?

All frameless glass pool fencing panels are manufactured from 12mm toughened safety glass, which meets Australian pool safety standard AS1926.1. Some older gate systems use 8mm glass – our Master series gates are available in both 8mm and 12mm options.

Do I need to earth frameless glass pool fencing?

Earthing requirements depend on your spigot type. If using standard metal spigots within 1250mm of the pool waterline, earthing is required under Australian Standards. Our INSULUXE insulated (no-earthing) bolt down spigots eliminate this requirement entirely, making installation simpler and more cost-effective.

What’s the difference between bolt down and core drilled spigots?

Bolt down spigots are surface-mounted to concrete, tiles or pavers using base plates – no drilling into the slab required, making them the most popular DIY choice. Core drilled spigots are embedded directly into the concrete for a flush, base-plate-free look preferred in architectural and luxury pool projects.

What’s the difference between Polaris and Master gate systems?

Both are premium frameless glass gate systems meeting AS1926.1. The Polaris system uses a round post/spigot profile and is known for its sleek, modern aesthetic. The Master system uses a square profile with face mount hinge panels and is available in 8mm and 12mm gate glass options. Both include self-closing TruClose hinges and self-latching locks.

Can I click & collect frameless glass pool fencing?

Yes – we have 7 warehouse locations across Australia (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Newcastle and the Central Coast) where you can collect your order. We also offer nationwide delivery for customers outside our warehouse areas.

How do I calculate how many panels I need?

Measure the total linear metres of pool perimeter you need to fence. Glass panels are available from 200mm to 2000mm wide, and your installer will configure the widths to suit your exact pool dimensions. Contact our team and we can help you calculate the quantities and widths needed for your specific project.
